Reflecting on childhood memories, many of us recall the timeless appeal of a classic card game known by various names across different cultures: Sedmice in some regions, Zsírozás in Hungary, Hola in Poland, and Sedma in Czech. In English, it’s simply referred to as Sevens.

This game offers a variety of play styles, but adheres to a core set of rules:

• The game utilizes a 32-card deck, with the option to choose from three different deck types.
• Two teams, each consisting of two players, compete against one another, with each player holding four cards at any given time.
• Ace and ten cards are valued as points, and the last trick taken is worth an additional point, culminating in a total of nine points available per round.
• If a team successfully collects all aces and tens, along with winning the last trick, they earn a bonus of ten points.
• The first team to achieve 41 points three times is declared the winner.
• An important aspect to note is that the Seven card possesses the ability to take any card from the opponent.

The game also accommodates play against computer opponents in a 2 versus 2 format, offering further engagement for players looking for a challenge.
